I was recently devastated by a tragic experience for 2 of my good friends. I was reminded of the fragility of life. And the fragility of all of our expectations, assumptions, and presuppositions. In my attempt to understand and cope with this tragedy, I was drawn to a recently finished song. Ultimately, it is about the essentialness of hope to living...rather than being.
